As Senior AI Technical Lead, I lead the design and deployment of end-to-end AI-driven software within Telefónica's global strategy. My responsibility spans the entire lifecycle—from model training and inference to full-scale industrialization—ensuring direct business impact under rigorous Responsible and Sustainable AI standards.

Key milestones and projects:

• Hyper-personalization: Architected a system to identify optimal purchase moments and product-customer fit. The platform automates personalized campaigns to maximize conversion rates and Lifetime Value (LTV), directly driving revenue growth.
• Next Best Action (NBA): Developed and deployed a recommendation engine to optimize customer experience and commercial performance. The system integrates an explainability (XAI) agent capable of justifying proposals and generating personalized communications for the end-user.
• Operational Security: Led the development and production deployment of occupancy prediction software for Movistar Prosegur Alarmas, leveraging contextual AI to automatically activate the alarm when the home is unoccupied.
• Sustainable AI (Kiri): Pioneered and patented the technology for measuring energy consumption and CO₂ emissions throughout the AI software lifecycle, receiving international recognition from the GSMA.
• Governance & Ethics: I serve as RAI Champion in the CDO area, ensuring and auditing that all developed products comply with the company's AI principles and the EU AI Act.

As a Technology Specialist, I managed the end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions within Telefónica Kernel (the company's strategic digitalization platform). My role focused on the design, development, and industrialization of scalable AI-driven software, ensuring technical alignment with core business objectives.

Key milestones and projects:

• Recommendation & Propensity Systems: Technical leadership in E2E architectures for Next Best Action (NBA), Device Recommender, and credit risk models, integrating AI into commercial operations to optimize decision-making.
• XAI Strategy & Leadership: Identified the strategic need for model interpretability, leading to the creation of the LIDE method (Local Interpretable Data Explanations), currently registered as a European patent. I spearheaded the implementation of this method into the XAIoGraphs open-source library, focusing on explainability and fairness for tabular data classification.
• AI Governance Pioneer: Key participant since 2021 in the pilot program for operationalizing Responsible AI Principles. As RAI Champion in the CDO area, I co-designed governance and ethics methodologies ahead of the EU AI Act proposal, pioneering what was then an emerging field.
• 5G Network Optimization: Awarded first place at the Telefónica AI Datathon (2022) for developing a Machine Learning system for automatic network cell classification, significantly improving mobile infrastructure efficiency.
• Project Leadership: Technical oversight of multidisciplinary teams, ensuring excellence in software quality, data interoperability, and system robustness in high-availability environments.

As a key figure during Devo’s high-growth phase (former Logtrust), I led the delivery of strategic real-time Big Data projects for major accounts in the Telecommunications and Media sectors. My role transitioned from technical management to strategic project direction, directly influencing product evolution and helping establish Devo as a market leader in data analytics.

Key milestones and responsibilities:

• End-to-End Data Strategy: Directed the full lifecycle of large-scale data analytics projects, from designing complex ingestion architectures to developing advanced visualization models for executive-level decision-making.
• Product Advocacy & Evolution: Served as the strategic link between enterprise client needs and the engineering team, identifying and prioritizing critical enhancements that scaled the Devo platform and increased its competitive market value.
• High-Performance Leadership: Managed multidisciplinary teams with a focus on technical excellence, resolving complex architectural challenges and fostering a continuous learning culture through internal technical training programs.
• Digital Transformation: Spearheaded initiatives to unlock value from massive datasets, successfully migrating legacy infrastructures into modern, high-speed real-time analytics solutions.

As Recommendation Systems & AI Expert, I developed the recommender engine for the TwentyOne app, personalising social media content based on user behaviour. I also worked on the backend development of the Whatsred app, applying scalable architectures and RESTful services to support real-time content delivery.

As Research Assistant, I contributed to the "Intelligent Systems for Social and Virtual Environments" research group, focusing on the improvement of collaborative filtering-based recommender systems. My work involved applying techniques such as matrix factorization, machine learning, fuzzy logic and natural computing to enhance recommendation accuracy and system performance.

As Research Engineer, I worked in the company's innovation department, exploring M2M and IoT solutions within the context of Smart Cities. My main responsibilities included designing and developing prototypes and proof of concepts (PoCs) for emerging technologies, contributing to the validation of innovative use cases for connected devices and urban infrastructure.
